- We are directly responsible for nearly $900 million of local economic development each year in the United States through employee wages and benefits, taxes, and money spent on utilities, procurement and other business expenditures.
- We provide well-paying, middle class jobs.For example, EVRAZ Rocky Mountain Steel team members earn average wages that are 45 percent higher than the median Pueblo County income.

Fast Facts- EVRAZ North America is the largest recycler in Colorado, recycling steel from the equivalent of more than a million tons of scrap metal year.
- We invested $3.5 million in a state-of-the-art storm water treatment system for our Portland, Oregon, facility to improve Willamette River health and water quality.
- The pollution control system for our Pueblo, Colorado, facility captures nearly 100 percent of the dust from its furnace to be sent to an off-site processor where it is used in diverse products.
- EVRAZ Portland purchases Clean WindSM power, reducing carbon emissions by over 2.5 million pounds.
